The Secret Part Two: Manifesting the Life You Deserve

Welcome back!!!! How was your week last week? Did you practice being grateful? I am so glad that you are joining me, for The Secret Part Two; Manifesting the Life You Deserve. Whenever I began to practice bringing my visions to life, it was quite exciting. The first time I used this technique, was the first day after watching The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. I wanted so desperately to have a new job, and I wanted my life to be more exciting. I then asked the universe for just this.

The next day, I went to work, I went over to one of my tables after they had left and there was a newspaper laying there. I picked up the paper, and there was a job circled in red for Norwegian Cruise Lines. I was so excited I could not handle it! They were holding interviews in Denver Colorado the following day.

I went online, and printed out a picture of one of the many Norwegian Cruise ships. I copied the image in to my brain, laid down in the middle of the floor in my bedroom, and I began to visualize. I saw the ship so clearly in my head, and I envisioned the cool salty air blowing through my hair. The next day, I went to Denver, I was interviewed for the job, and I was immediately hired. I flew to Hawaii, got out of the cab, and began to walk up to the ship.

Now this is the fun part; it was the exact same ship that I had printed a picture of. I was hooked, and I have been bringing whatever I desire into my life ever since.

Lisa Nichols from The Secret describes this as a three step process. Step one is to ask. Be very clear about whatever it is that you desire. For this step, I like to write down exactly what it is that I want. When you write down what it is that you are yearning for, it sets it in stone, so to speak. The second step is to believe. You want to act as if you have already received what you are asking for. For this step, I want you to see what it is you are after. I want you to feel it and taste it. This is the part I see a ton of people mess up. They give up too soon, and then whatever they are about receive disappears.

The third step, is to receive. In my opinion this is the best part. Enjoy whatever it is that you have brought into your life. You deserve it! This three step process is very simple and oh so powerful! You ask for something that you desire, believe that you have already received it, and then you accept what it is you asked for. There are so many areas of your life that you can use this technique. I will share many of my experiences throughout this journey. Please leave comments below and share with me what you have manifested. Thank you so much for reading my blog. Next week, I want to help you learn how to control your thoughts. I am looking very forward to talking to you soon!

Simple Techniques to Stay in a Positive State of Mind

Welcome Back!!! I missed you guys! Last week,  worked on manifesting material items or experiences into our lives. As I have told you before, I have used this technique in many areas of my life.

This week I wanted to do it again. This is what happened. I remember when I was a small child, everywhere that we would go my mom would find money. She found a hundred-dollar bill in a mall parking lot, a twenty in a bathroom, and the list went on and on. I remember thinking to myself, “I never find money.” I have kept this belief with me for as long as I can remember, until today. Three days ago, I was going for a walk, and I decided that I am going to start looking for money. The whole walk, I looked down, in search of my hidden treasure. I did not find anything that first day, but I did not let this discourage me.

Just as I had mentioned before, you cannot lose hope. So this morning I finished my morning walk with my mom, and guess who found a crisp one-dollar bill in the parking lot. You guessed it, this girl! BOOM! O.K. I know what you’re thinking “Wow Brandi, great now you can retire.” It wasn’t the amount of money that I found, it was the fact that I have spent the last thirty-three years on earth with-out finding even a dollar, to breaking the cycle. Now, I am going to be a little more specific with the universe.

Next time you see me out for a stroll, scouring the ground, you should know I will be hunting for hundreds;) How did the week go for all of you? What did you manifest? If you have not tried it yet it is never too late.
Let’s move on, last week we had discussed learning how to control your thoughts. We have so many thoughts running through our head each day. The movie The Secret suggest to not try to control these thoughts, but instead letting yourself remain in a positive place.

I had talked about being grateful earlier, and this is a great way to bring yourself into a positive space. My favorite way is to listen to music and dance. My dance moves at home, would make for some very hilarious You Tube videos. Often times I find myself laughing, at well, myself. Which is also a great way to beat out negativity. Sometimes laughter is the best medication. If you ever catch yourself slipping down into that downward spiral, watch some funny You Tube videos, call a friend that makes you laugh, look around and be grateful for this opportunity to be on this planet.

The sooner you catch yourself the better, but you can be pulled out of the deepest darkest hole. I know. I’ve been down there. The sooner that you realize what a beautiful, amazing, and truly wonderful person you are, the sooner you can cross over and start living the life that you deserve. We were not put on this earth to suffer and be miserable.

We were put on this planet to chase our dreams, laugh out loud, and most importantly to love and to be loved. You are worth it! I am going to stop here for now. I want you to truly think about what an incredible person you are. Make a list. Please don’t focus on the negative traits or experiences that you have had. We are all human, and we have all made mistakes. Don’t let your mistakes be your life story. Leave them in the past where they belong. Lift your chin up, and let’s head into the future, together.

Lots of love,

Brandi

P.S. Join me next week and we will talk about the thoughts that are already programed into your head, and how to reprogram your brain.

We Have Come So Far!!!

Hi peeps! Thanks for joining me! I am thoroughly enjoying sharing this information with all of you, and I appreciate you reading it. It has been wonderful to write a new blog each week that pertains to positivity and living an amazing life. It has also been helpful to review this wonderful information myself. Which brought me to this idea. 💡 I wanted to write a blog about everything that we have covered so far, as a refresher before we move on to specific areas of your life.

In the first blog, I started by introducing myself, and letting you know that everything was not always as great as it is now, but it is possible to change the game, and start living the life that you deserve.

The next week, was about The Secret, and the power of positivity. How has everything been going? Have you used music, laughter, or gratitude to help keep you in a positive state of mind? Have you tried other techniques to help you? Leave messages in the comments section, I would love to hear about what you have tried. Another technique, that I found helpful in The Secret is to use a, “gratitude rock”. You place a small rock in your pocket or purse, every time you touch the rock you say something that you’re grateful for, it is an extremely helpful reminder.

The third week was my favorite! During this blog, we went over manifesting experiences, situation, and people. I relayed the ask, believe, and receive technique that they use in The Secret. I love this part so much because I am still so amazed at how well this works. It is important for you to believe, if nothing happens, DON’T STOP BELIEVING! I always find, when little bit of doubt comes in, I tell myself, “Nope I’m not going to give in!” and almost immediately after I experience that doubt and I say, “I still believe, I believe, I believe.” And whatever I desire appears.

The fourth week, I thought that it was really important to address looking forward. We all have experiences in our past that we are not proud of, but it’s O.K. I encourage you to look at the past, forgive yourself for anything that you need forgiveness for, ask for forgiveness, and move on. Don’t look back, you are not going that way.

The last week that we were together, I went over some different techniques to create new thoughts. From childhood our brains are being programmed. Everything that we are taught, if we deem it to be true, becomes who we are. With a few minor shifts in the way that we think, we can make huge improvements. Just thinking more positively completely changed my life!

I am glad that we took time to revisit information that we have covered in the last six weeks. It is so important to always review what you have already learned, and to take a complete inventory of our lives. Which is exactly what we are going to do next week. Bring your notebooks because it is on!!! One more huge favor, please share my blog on Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, print it out and mail it to someone. My goal is to help one person, but I would not be disappointed to help a whole lot more!

Love Y’all,

Simply Brandi Olson

Simply Money

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Hey hey hey!
Thank you so much for joining me to talk about one of my favorite subjects. What is it you ask? It’s money! I have been talking to several people this week and I am finding out that many of them think of money in a very negative light. Sadly, if you choose to have a bad relationship with money you will have a hard time obtaining it and holding on to it.

The first and most important objective is to identify what kind of a relationship it is that you have with money. Do you have ill feelings about it? Does just hearing the word stress you out? Unfortunately, this is the case for many people. Perhaps, sometime in your life a parent may have made you feel a certain way about money. Possibly, you have never had enough it and that made you feel horrible, nervous, even anxious. No matter what the reason is, I am happy to tell you that we can work together to help you resolve your distaste for money and work on developing a great relationship with it.

Let’s start by getting out your notebook and writing down how you feel about money. List everything that you can think of. Next, I want you to really think about why you feel this way. Dig deep, we are only going to be able to solve the problem if you can admit there is an issue and we can find out where it comes from.

After you have finished writing down how you feel about money and why you feel that way. I want you to ask yourself if that belief is valid. So many ways of thinking are introduced to us during our lives, but we rarely question if these ways of thinking at legitimate.I was talking to someone and they said that money is the base for every evil act. Is that true? Can’t money be also used for good? Can people who are without money also act in an evil way? And why would you think this way? I would rather focus on all the good that money can do in the world, collect more of it, and contribute to the amazing deeds that are able to happen because of it.

Which brings me to my next step, if there is a chance that your negative beliefs about money could be false write down the opposite. If you believe money is evil, write down next to that money is wonderful! You can post these on sticky notes throughout your house to remind you about your new healthy thoughts and relationship with your new friend, money. You have nothing to lose, if you change your thoughts and feelings about money you have everything to gain, more money, financial freedom, less stress, and the life you deserve. Thank you for reading. I dare you to like and share.
😜

Simply Blueprints

Hello friends!     I hope everyone has had an amazing week so far. Last week, we did a review over everything that I have shared with you thus far. We laid a solid foundation, and now it is time to build our house. Think of your life being as being a huge mansion, and each room in the mansion is an area of your life.

What is the first thing you do before you build a house? 🏡 You draw up blueprints. That’s exactly what we are going to do today. We are going to draw up the blueprints for your life, and I want you to be excited about this! I am going to help you design a perfect life that you have always dreamed of, and that you deserve. Let’s get started!

First, we need to decide how many rooms are going to be in your house. I have made a list of every “room” that I could think of to put into the house of your dreams, but feel free to add your own and take away the ones you have no interest in. Once you have decided, take one or two pieces of paper, preferably in a notebook, to prevent them from being tossed out. Now write each one, separated by at least five lines.

Spirituality🙏

Family🤼‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Physical Health🤸‍♀️

Mental Health🌅

Money 💰

Love❤️

Children👶

Career🤝

Friendships👩🏻👱🏼‍♀️

Vacations🦋

These are the top ten areas of your life that I will be writing about for the next ten weeks. Please let me know if you feel like I have left one out that is important to you in the comments section. Next, under each area, write down the facts about where you are now. (Super important: this is not a time to bully yourself, it is simply a tool to use to gauge the progress that you are about to make. So please don’t write anything negative.) I remember going back and looking at some of my journals. They were filled with so much self-hate, I am appalled at the things I said about myself. This tip does not pertain to just this exercise but also life. Be your own biggest fan.

Now, under where we wrote where we are now, write under that what your desire is for that area of your life. This can be brief; we will get into the nitty gritty details later. For example, I want to become more spiritual, I want to have three kids, I want to become closer with my family. And that’s it! Sometimes the simplest exercises impact our lives the greatest! Writing down what you want is so powerful. Each week for the next ten weeks I am going to write a blog about each area of your life that we have discussed today. We will talk about ways to not only improve each area, but possibly completely change if desired. Thank you for joining me, and I am looking forward to next week. Don’t forget to like and share.

Until we meet again,

Simply Changing Your Thoughts

From the time that we are born, until we die, we program our brains. Some of these systems are great! For instance, breathing, eating, and drinking water, but we may also have some bad encoding, and or beliefs. I was having trouble losing weight and keeping it off. I began to pay attention to the thoughts that I was having about it. I would always tell myself, how hard it was to lose weight, and keeping it off was harder. I wanted to find a way to change these thoughts. I threw it out into the Universe, and I was introduced to Riley Dayne’s movie The Abundance Factor. Amongst many great ideas, Riley had a technique that I found to be especially interesting. Grab some sticky notes and a sharpy and meet me back here in five!

O.K. great, now think about an area of your life that you want to improve. Examples: Spend more time with family, make more money, become more spiritual, lose weight, or improve relationships. Now think of any limited beliefs that you have. For instance, Losing weight is hard, I can never get along with my family, or I am always broke. Once you identify and limiting beliefs or as Riley Dayne calls them, “abundance blockers.” You can then use opposite phrases to retrain your brain. Now, write down the positive programming phrases onto the sticky notes. These are the ones I use, instead of saying, “Working out is hard.” I now say, “Getting in shape is super easy!”

Next, go around your house, and put these sticky notes on to all of the light switches that you use the most. This is the part of the movie that I found to be so interesting, Rylie says when you go to turn on or off the light, you say what is going to happen, “I am going to flip this switch, and the light will turn on.” You flip the switch and the light comes on. Your brain says, “That is true, the light turned on.” Your brain now believes whatever you say next. This is where you add in your positive programming, “I get along great with my family.” Your brain says, “O.K. that sounds good!” After I did this for about a month I really began to notice my thoughts changing.

I am not ready to take down my weight loss sticky notes, but I am eager to try this technique in other areas of my life. There are several ways to reprogram your brain. The goal is always to evaluate each area of your life that you seem to struggle with, identify the limiting beliefs or thoughts, and replace it with a phrase that is dripping positivity. Life is a continuous progression towards greatness. The work can be difficult at times, but the rewards are remarkable! Thank you again for reading my blog. I’m excited to grow more next week.

Much ❤️ Love,

Brandi Olson

The Secret and How it Transformed My Life

Hi everyone! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far. I am so excited to write this blog about The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I want to start this journey with you by sharing what I have learned from this book and movie. The Secret ignited my transformation, and I am thrilled to be sharing it with you. If you read the last blog, you know that I was struggling with depression, addiction, and overall sadness. I was not happy with myself, and often times I would contemplate suicide. I had no idea how I was going to continue with my life, and I did not care.

Fortunately, in my time of need, I was watching an episode of the Oprah Winfrey show, and they were talking about The Secret. I immediately went out and purchased the DVD and the book in the middle of a rainstorm. I rushed home and I watched it immediately. During the movie, I felt butterflies in my stomach and the hair stood up on my arms, I knew that I had found something great!
The movie starts with Rhonda Byrne’s talking about how she was also in distress, and out of her deepest despair her son gave her a book that contained this great secret. She was shocked to discover these concepts. She began to do research, and realized that many famous and successful people in history knew about it. She was shocked and wanted to see if anyone today knew. As she began to do her research, all of these individuals who shared these ideas began to emerge. Eventually, she created this movie so she could share with the world what only a few people knew. (Thanks Rhonda!)

I’m sure at this point you are eager to know what is the big secret. The secret is that positive thinking has a huge impact on your life. As Mike Dooley simply puts it, “thoughts become things.” What this means, is that every thought that you are having, whether it is positive or negative, is sending out a frequency into the Universe. Whatever you put out into the universe comes back to you.

I know it seems overwhelming at first, it did for me too. I had so many questions, but once I really started paying attention it became so clear to me. The Secret uses an example of a man in a restaurant. You can tell that the man is grumpy when he comes in, and his entire experience in the restaurant is negative. He gets the wrong order, spills it on himself, you get the idea.

This example was awesome for me because I spent so much time working in restaurants as a server, and I saw this same situation play out over and over. You have two tables sit down in the same section, same server, same chef, and same restaurant. One table is happy-go-lucky, and the other one in a hurry, angry, and overall off-putting. It was always amazing to me how different their experiences were.

The positive people would have an awesome dining experience with tons of fun, good food, and laughter, and the other table would be rude, everything would be wrong, and they would be dissatisfied. Jack Canfield said it best, “If you’re complaining about how bad it is, what you are creating is more of how bad it is.” This is horrible if you are the angry and negative thinking person at the restaurant, but is wonderful if you can make the shift from negative to positive.

If you are committed to making this work, you can have anything and be anything you want. I went from having mounds of debt, low self-esteem, a job I hated, and horrible relationships, to acquiring the husband of my dreams, a beautiful home, the health that I desired, financial stability, and now the career of my dreams. I am so happy and grateful that all my dreams have become reality, but I am even more grateful to be sharing how I got there with you.

Let’s start with how to change your thoughts. We have millions of thoughts every day and it seems impossible to change them all. Well the good thing is that we are not going to focus on changing all your thoughts. For now, we only want to focus on being in a good space. Instead of focusing on every thought that comes into your pretty head, focus on being happy. Focus on laughing, and being grateful for what you already have. When you are focused on all of these wonderful feelings it is hard to be negative.

Gratitude is one of the most important thoughts to have. If you are in a less desirable place it may seem hard to be grateful, but I encourage you to find something every day to be grateful for. Be grateful for, the clothes on your back, your arm, or even your ears. When you are thankful for the wonderful gifts you already have, the Universe is ever so happy to give you more. I know that this may seem like an impossible task, but I know that if I was able to do it you can too. I would like to stop right here and let you work on being grateful. Take a few moments each day and write down three things your grateful for. Leave me comments below and tell me how it is working.

Also, there is so many brilliant ideas and people in this book and movie. I definitely encourage everyone to get a copy. The book in beautifully written and the movie in so visually pleasing. I am so thrilled to be able to share these magnificent ideas with you and I am so excited to continue this journey with you all. Join me next week, and we will work together to create an extraordinary life with many breathtaking experiences.

Much Love,

Simply Brandi Olson
